The menu is built around hair services: cutting, color, relaxing, press and curl, extensions, styling, natural hair twists and wigs, along with add-ons and a comb out or detangle service. Prices are set around how long each service takes, the skill it requires and how much it is customized for the guest.

Signature offerings include The Mix Experience, a 100-minute service that adds a steam session and finishes with either a press and curl or a flat iron, using a system the salon says removes product buildup. Press and curl services can be enhanced with an optional Kérastase treatment. Seasonal Rituals are a set of press and curl systems that the salon says will soon be discontinued.

New color clients must have a consultation first, and wig services require a brief stylist consultation before booking. Saturday bookings are confirmed only once payment is received. Guests can pay with cash (Cash App is not accepted), Zelle, or a card kept on file that is used only for applicable fees. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may be cancelled, or accommodated with a $1 per minute late fee, and repeated tardiness can affect future booking. Cancellations within 48 hours are charged 50 percent, while same-day cancellations and missed appointments are charged in full. Balances must be settled before rebooking, and guests are asked not to bring additional guests or children.

Services are scheduled one guest at a time and priced around the time, expertise and customization each one involves.
