Color and extension work begin with a consultation. For color, clients text photos of their hair so an exact quote can be given, and the listed starting prices vary with length, thickness and hair history. Balayage and highlights are planned around the starting color, the brightness the client wants, hair history and how much upkeep they are willing to do. Extension pricing is given after a consultation, and the aim is a natural-looking result.

Head Spa Nagomi is the salon's head spa line, founded by Kazumi Maeda and opened above the salon. The spa describes itself as the only authentic Japanese head spa in Los Angeles certified by Zudo Academy in Japan. The 60-minute Nagomi treatment at $200 includes a shiatsu neck and shoulder massage, scalp steam, scalp massage and a leave-in serum. The 75-minute Luxury treatment at $250 adds a scalp-magnifier consultation, a carbonated treatment, cryotherapy and longer scalp massage. The 90-minute Royal treatment at $300 is described by the salon as its most popular menu item. Add-ons include Hair Grow Max at $110, which includes AI scalp analysis and a take-home scalp health report.

Most services can be booked online, while Milbon Liscio Japanese Straightening is booked by call or text only. Clients can text or call 310.435.0726 or email salon@salonkazumi.com. Parking is free after 6 PM. Cancellations or changes within 48 hours are charged 50 percent of the service total, and same-day cancellations are charged the full service. Groups of four or more need a 50 percent deposit at booking, and deposits are refunded for cancellations more than five days ahead. The salon also offers independent stylists their own schedule and rates, with backbar provided and no product charges. The salon was featured in a VH1 episode of To Catch a Beautician with Johnny Wright.
