The current salon occupies a 1940 house a few blocks from downtown Cumming, which was renovated over roughly a year and a half with new electrical work, paint and flooring.

The salon's core values are balance, teamwork, respect, leadership and service, and it follows a golden-rule approach to how guests and team members treat one another. Its stated mission is to build a balanced team that touches people's lives in a positive way. Master-level stylists act as in-house educators who work hands-on with associates. Team levels run from New Talent, the training stage, through Advanced and Senior to Master. The salon describes itself as a teaching salon that trains stylists in building a clientele, customer service and hands-on skills.

New guests complete a consultation form before their first visit so the stylist can prepare, and a Front Desk Coordinator matches each new guest with a stylist. Prices depend on the stylist's level. A Signature Haircut starts at $56 with a New Talent stylist and at $96 with Berni. A Base Color Retouch starts at $74 with a New Talent stylist and at $87 with a Master. Color prices do not include a blowout or haircut, and an additional $11 color charge applies per bowl when more color must be mixed. The salon says every service is designed to feel like a five-star experience.

Extensions are offered by two methods, Habit Hand-tied and Invisible Bead Extensions, and the salon has offered hand-tied extensions for five years. A dedicated room is used for extension services. Extension maintenance, or move-up, is recommended every 8 to 10 weeks and includes removal, optional color, scalp massage, a blowout and reinstallation with a curl finish. Extension consultations are scheduled within two business days after the extension interest form is completed, and a deposit of half the hair cost is required before extension hair is ordered.
