Berni Leonard is co-owner and Master Stylist at Salon Five Twelve, where she specializes in haircutting and hand-tied extensions. She has worked as a hairdresser for 47 years and became licensed at 18. She opened a salon by age 24 and grew it from 1,200 to 5,000 square feet and from six to 48 employees within five years. After selling her earlier salon, Bernadette's Hair Salon and Wig Gallery, she opened Berni Inc in Cumming. She has taken classes around the world and been asked to speak at them. She has received the Top Business Woman recognition, the Women Who Make a Mark Award, the Aveda Master of Arts Award and the Global Humanitarian Award.
