Salon Cuttinup is a hair salon in Katy, Texas. Its menu covers cuts and styling, semi and permanent color, relaxers, two-step lightening to white blonde, waves and curls, and platinum pixie work. Every service is booked by appointment, and the location is provided once a booking is made.

New clients book a consultation before any service, which can be held in person or by FaceTime. The salon also offers a separate consultation for its platinum pixie service for natural hair. That consultation is non-refundable, must be booked first, and is credited toward the service fee.

The salon is open Thursday and Friday from 5:30 AM to 9:30 PM and Saturday from 9:45 AM to 2:45 PM. Other days are available only by special request. Appointment lengths vary a lot, from a ten-minute semi color deposit to a platinum pixie session of about two hours and forty minutes.

Clients are asked to come alone because space is limited, and to arrive picture-ready. Photos and videos are taken for the salon's social media. Hair must be free of braids or previous weaves; if removal help is needed, it costs an extra $30. Cars must be registered for parking, and the salon is not responsible for towing.

Clients are given a 15-minute grace period for lateness; after that the appointment is canceled. Same-day cancellations may incur a fee. A missed appointment without a call means no future appointments are booked, and after a missed appointment half the fee must be paid before the next booking. Deposits are non-refundable.
