Krista and Philippe Depeyrot opened Salon Bisoux in 2013 after working in downtown Washington, DC and Paris. The salon's aim is an artistic, collaborative environment centered on comfort, style and beauty.

The salon's services are grouped into cuts, bang trims, styling, extensions, color, and texture control and perms. Signature options include a haircut with a Kerastase treatment, balayage and foil highlights, INOA color, keratin treatments, and a Magic Sleek treatment. Extensions and creative color are arranged by consultation, and color appointments are booked by phone so the right appointment length can be set, especially for first-time clients.

The salon is open Tuesday from 8AM to 5PM, Wednesday and Thursday from 8AM to 6PM, Friday from 9AM to 6PM and Saturday from 9AM to 5PM, and is closed Sunday and Monday. Street parking is available nearby, though some spots have a two-hour limit, and clients are asked not to use the corner lot belonging to Truist bank, where vehicles are towed. Blow-dryers are available for clients to use before they leave.
