Salon 22

Salon 22 is a hair salon on West Main Street in Tavares. Lori founded the salon and works there as a stylist alongside Amanda Victory.

The salon's starting point is healthy hair. It uses products and techniques meant to keep hair healthy, strong and vibrant, and aims to give each client a personalized experience based on their individual needs.

Services cover haircuts, color, highlights and treatments, along with perms in long and short versions, extensions in several styles, and waxing for the eyebrows, lip, chin and whole face. Bridal and special occasion styling is also offered. Shampoo, cut and style starts at $45, depending on hair length and thickness. All over color starts at $85, balayage starts at $150 and takes about two hours, and highlights start at $125, depending on length, thickness and product needs. Prices vary with hair length and density, and personalized quotes are available by contacting the salon. A color consultation is offered at no charge and lasts 15 minutes.

Appointments carry a few policies. A deposit is required for long services such as color and extensions and is applied toward the service. Cancellations or rescheduling need at least 24 hours' notice, and late cancellations may forfeit the deposit. Clients more than 15 minutes late may need to rebook. Chemical service results may vary and are not guaranteed. Gift cards are non-refundable, have no cash value, and can be used toward any service. Clients unhappy with a service are asked to report it within 7 days.
