Each visit begins with a conversation about the result the guest wants, their hair goals, lifestyle, maintenance preferences and hair health. Stylists then suggest a plan. Haircut consultations take in hair texture, face shape, growth patterns and how much styling time the guest has. Color plans also start with the desired result, and some take more than one visit, especially major blonding or corrective work. Color pricing depends on the starting point, the result wanted and the amount of hair, and the plan and cost are reviewed before any service begins. Treatments are chosen for what the hair needs and are never added automatically.

Color work covers all-over color, gray blending and gray coverage, root touch-ups, balayage, babylights, partial and full highlights, and blonding from soft dimensional tones to brighter blonde. Color correction is offered for unwanted or uneven color, banding, excess warmth, or earlier color that did not turn out as planned. A gloss treatment refreshes shine and tone without a full color service. Extensions include clip-in and halo styles for temporary wear and events, hand-tied wefts, K-tip keratin bonds and tape-in. Every extension service begins with a complimentary in-person consultation, and extensions can be customized for length, volume or added density, including for guests with fine or thinning hair.

Guests who are unsure where to start can take the salon's online matchmaking quiz, which pairs them with a stylist based on hair goals, desired services, schedule, budget and preferred salon experience. Guest Relations can also help choose a location, stylist and time for an extension consultation by phone. Newer artists work in the salon's Associate Artist Program, and an artist or associate may assist during an appointment while the primary stylist oversees the plan. Bridal hair and makeup covers the bride and wedding party, with bridal trials and rehearsal-dinner styling at select locations. Guests who are unhappy with a result are asked to contact the salon so the team can review it and agree on a next step.

Each visit starts with learning the guest's goals, desired result, lifestyle, maintenance preferences and hair health before a plan is made. The salon aims for guests to build a long-term relationship with their hair and stylist.
