RUBIO the studio is run by owner Taylor Rubio, who works with clients on color and extension services. Appointments are one-on-one, so each visit has the studio's full attention.

Services are grouped into a Color Menu, Styling + Cutting, and Extensions. The Color Menu covers gloss, base color, mini foil, bleach with toner, and partial and full signature foil. Styling + Cutting includes haircuts and blowouts, and a haircut add-on to a color service is booked by consultation. Extensions are offered in both weft and individual styles.

The studio says it puts the long-term health of clients' hair first, and each service is customized from formulation through placement.

Hours are Wednesday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and Thursday through Saturday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The studio is closed Monday, Tuesday and Sunday. Questions can be sent by email to Rubio.taylor@gmail.com or by call or text at (213) 444-6851.

The salon asks for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or move an appointment. Cancelling or moving a booking with less than 48 hours' notice, or not showing up at all, carries a fee of 50% of the total for the scheduled services. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may have to change their booking or make a new one. A valid card on file may be needed to reserve, and all returns are final sale.

Each service is customized from formulation through placement, with appointments kept one-on-one.
