Royalty Lash Academy

It was founded by Princess Duffy and Amari Paff, who both teach. The academy's stated mission is to give students the skills, confidence and knowledge to build a professional lash career, and it describes its education as top-tier and personalized.

Training runs in three formats. An expedited full-time program takes 8 to 10 weeks, with classes Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. A part-time program takes 16 to 18 weeks, with a choice of weekday mornings from 9:00am to 1:00pm, midday from 10:00am to 2:00pm, or evenings from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. A hybrid program combines 160 hours in person with 160 hours online, which students complete on their own time. Night classes are available, and students can mix and match schedule times to fit their needs.

Enrollment is open to anyone 16 or older, and high school students can also enroll. No diploma or GED is required. Tuition comes with a free iPad, and payment plans are available weekly, biweekly or monthly.

Instruction is hands-on. Students practice on supplied models and on real clients who come in for practice. An online beginner course introduces booking sites, tape down, the lash cycle, isolation, lash mapping and lash baths. That course does not grant a lash license and is for educational purposes only.

The academy also offers a 4-hour Texas continuing education course, code TDLR-CE-4HR, through its online catalog for $29. On the service side, it offers classic, hybrid and volume refills and full sets, and sells 0.03 C and D curl lash extensions along with Pink Friday line cropped tees.
