Pricing depends on the style, the size and the length, which runs from shoulder to under butt. Box braids come in small, small medium, medium and large sizes, and knotless braids, which start without a tight knot at the root, are priced in the same size-and-length way. Braids start at $180 for many styles, cornrows start at $60, kids braids start at $120 and mini twists start at $160. Kids braids are offered to children ages 4 and up, and younger children can be accommodated by contacting the salon first.

Booking requires a $30 non-refundable deposit, which is applied to the total. One reschedule is allowed with 24 or more hours' notice, and late cancellations or no-shows forfeit the deposit. Some styles, including Fulani twists, Fulani boho braids, boho French curls, knotless twists and mini twists, need at least 3 to 4 inches of natural hair. Cornrow clients are asked to arrive with hair detangled and fully dry, and cornrow feed-in styles may need 2 to 4 packs of pre-stretched braiding hair brought in. Appointment lengths vary, with cornrows taking about 2 hours and larger twist and braid styles often running 4 to 8 hours.
