Root & Ritual Hair Studio is located at 178 Briarcliff Dr, Suite 12, in Clayton, North Carolina. Owner stylist Cassie Shaffer works there as the studio's only listed stylist, from her own salon suite.

The menu is grouped into color, cuts and styling, highlights, treatments and waxing. Color includes a retouch of the base color, an all-over base color, and a base color combined with highlights. Highlighting options are partial highlights, full highlights and balayage. Cuts range from children's and teen haircuts to men's cuts, women's cuts, buzz cuts and bang trims. Eyebrow, lip and chin waxing are each listed at $10 and about 15 minutes.

The studio is open Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, and Thursday from 9 AM to 8 PM. It is closed Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Clients who cannot make an appointment are asked to let the studio know as soon as possible so it can be rescheduled.
