Roose Beauty is the successor to The Roose, a salon in Phoenix's Roosevelt Row Arts District that AJ and LeAnne co-founded at the end of 2009. The Roose began in a historic bungalow, then in 2017 moved into a larger commercial space with six styling chairs, two nail stations and two spa rooms. For a time it also sold clothing in a boutique. The Roose closed in 2020 after 11 years, and the business now operates as Roose Beauty. According to the site, ELLE Magazine named The Roose one of the country's top 100 salons in 2010, and it remained on that list for five more years.
Services are grouped into blow dry add-ons, color, conditioning, cuts, highlights and styling. Color includes new growth and all-over color priced by hair length. Highlights come in partial, full and custom versions, with toner available. Cuts range from children and teens to men and women, with neck and beard trims also offered.
