Every service starts with a consultation, which is included and does not need to be booked separately. Initial cuts are done on wet hair, and the stylist explains how and why the cut suits the client's curl pattern and how to use products at home. Appointments keep to their scheduled time and are not rushed, since curly hair takes time, especially on combo visits. Clients are asked to detangle and section their hair before arriving; hair that takes more than 15 minutes to detangle carries a $40 fee and may not be finished that day.

Cuts are priced by appointment length and hair density, from a $65 fade to a $205 cut for very thick, mega-dense hair past mid-back. Color and combo prices can shift with how much product is used, such as toner or extra bleach. The salon does not use chemicals to change curl texture and uses only ammonia-free color, and it will not work on hair too damaged by over-processing or heat to curl.

Booking is done through the online booking tab or by joining the website as a member, and the calendar opens month by month. Cancellations and reschedules need 24 hours' notice, same-day cancellations are charged half the service, and appointments running 10 minutes late without contact are cancelled. Cuts and color can be corrected at no charge if the salon is contacted within 24 to 48 hours. Each client may bring one guest, children under 14 need a parent or guardian present, and no children under 5 are allowed. Payment is accepted by cash, check, card, Square and Venmo, with cash preferred; no refunds are given on services or products.
