Hand-tied extensions are wefts sewn onto a row of beads placed along the client's natural hair, with no heat or glue. Most clients need one to three rows with three to six wefts per row, depending on the length, volume and hair type they want. The method suits fine, medium or thick hair, and very fine, brittle or damaged hair may be directed toward other methods. An initial hand-tied installation, including hair, can range from $500 to $2,000 depending on the amount and quality of hair. Maintenance every four to eight weeks moves the wefts up as natural hair grows, and maintenance visits typically cost less than the installation and vary by stylist. According to the salon, the hair can last six to 12 months with proper care.

The genius weft line is sold in 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 inch lengths. Most shades are priced at $210.00 each, with Color Ring at $125.00 and Smoke Show at $190.00. Named shades include Boss Babe, You Can Sit With Us, Nash Vegas, Salty Baee, After Hours, Bel-Air and Brownie Batter. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for items that have never been worn, installed, altered or styled, in original packaging with tags and seals, with a receipt and after emailing for approval. Direct exchanges are not offered, so a customer returns an eligible item and then places a new order. Opened or installed hair, custom or personalized orders, sale items, gift cards and beauty items cannot be returned. Wrong or damaged orders must be reported by email within 48 hours of receipt, with the order number and photos. Approved refunds go to the original payment method within 10 business days of inspection, though banks may take longer. Orders shipped to EU countries carry a 14-day cancellation window from delivery.
