Appointments are booked in advance through the salon's online calendar. Hair is not included in the service price and can be purchased for an additional cost, and hair shorter than 3 inches carries extra charges. Clients can arrive with freshly shampooed and blow-dried hair or pay the salon to wash and dry it, and they are asked to avoid relaxing their hair within two weeks before a braiding appointment.

Consultations come first: a 15-minute initial consultation is $30 and an extended consultation of 16 to 30 minutes is $60. A $15 late fee applies. A missed appointment without notice means the client cannot rebook right away, and one reschedule within a month is allowed with the deposit moved to the new time. Payment is by cash, CashApp, Zelle or some credit cards, and gift cards never expire.
