Reflection Salon

The University Place site was launched by Christel Rahman in April 2022, once the space had been fully renovated. Before the move, the salon had been based in Fircrest for more than four years.

Hair appointments begin with a consultation about the look the client has in mind. Services cover haircuts, styling, color, balayage, and work on curly and textured hair from 1A to 4C. The salon also offers men's cuts, special occasion updos and Brazilian blowouts.

Nail visits are individual. Manicures and pedicures include separate foot soaks, hand buffing and filing, and the salon says it pays close attention to sanitation and hygienic industry standards. Gel and Shellac polish is cured under a UV light, and a hot stone massage can be added to hand or foot services.

According to the salon's booking page, a basic manicure with polish is listed at $48 and a shellac manicure at $58, each about an hour. A basic pedicure is listed at $68 and a spa pedicure at $78, which runs about an hour and a half. A basic manicure and pedicure together are listed at $106 for two hours.
