About

Redlands Cryo Spa is a wellness spa in Redlands, California, built around cryotherapy and a Himalayan salt cave. Alongside those, it offers Celluma PRO LED light therapy, NormaTec Pro pulse compression recovery, Cryo Fat Freeze body contouring, CryoFacial treatments, infrared sauna sessions, body waxing for face and body areas, and medical massage. The business says it welcomes clients of every age.

Whole body cryotherapy is offered as a single session, a first-time client special of three sessions, and packs ranging from three to 25 sessions, with a monthly membership at one session per day. Birthday offers include a discounted cryo session and a free salt cave visit on the client's birthday, with 50 percent off selected services during the week around it. Birthday offers require valid ID and cannot be combined with memberships or other offers.

The salt cave room is about 800 square feet, with zero gravity chairs and a floor covered with more than 22,500 pounds of Himalayan salt. Walk-ins are accepted, though booking ahead is recommended, and the room holds one to 25 people and offers private sessions. Cryo Fat Freeze sessions run 35 to 60 minutes using an Adicell Thermo device, and the business says there is no downtime.

Visits can be booked online through Schedulista or by phone at 909-255-2549. The spa is open Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 3:00pm, and it is closed on Sundays. Clients are asked to arrive five to 10 minutes before their start time. Appointments cancelled up to 24 hours ahead are free; same-day cancellations are charged 50 percent of the service price, and no-shows are charged the full price.

The spa also sells salt lamps, doTERRA essential oils and Kangen Water at $1 per gallon, and clients can pick Himalayan salt rocks from the lobby to make their own salt light. It posts weekly specials and a weekly free prize drawing on Facebook and Instagram. The Celluma PRO page notes a 2017 DAYSPA Professionals Choice Award, according to the business.

The salon centers its approach on the benefits of cryotherapy, a Himalayan salt cave, NormaTec Pro, Cryo Fat Freeze and therapeutic-grade essential oils. It notes that none of these is a medical service: according to the salon, they are not meant for diagnosing, curing, treating or preventing any illness.
