Red Tress Artistry

Red Tress Artistry has operated since 2016 at 259 S Cedar Ridge Dr in Duncanville. The salon's main priority is healthy hair, kept up through periodic treatments, trims and quality products that clients use both at home and in the salon.

Hair color is mixed custom for each client using current techniques, and pricing is set case by case after a consultation. Color services begin with a consultation by text, with an in-person consultation at the first appointment if needed. Demi and semi colors can be done at the first visit; other color services are not done until a later appointment.

Cut and style services cover all hair lengths, from trendy looks to classic ones. Makeup is also offered. The salon looks for models for color and cutting work. Selected models receive complimentary hair and makeup for photoshoots and may be featured at hair shows or in technique demonstrations in classes.

Appointments can be booked online at any time. Hours are Wednesday and Thursday 6pm to 10pm, Friday 9am to 7pm, and Saturday 7am to 4pm, with Sunday by appointment only. The last appointment is one hour before closing, and requests outside normal hours carry additional charges. Phone calls are not taken during appointments, so clients are asked to leave a text or voicemail. Children cannot sit with a client during a service and must be able to stay unattended; arrangements for children are preferred.

Cancellations less than 24 hours ahead carry a $25 fee per service. No-shows and same-day cancellations are charged the full price of the scheduled service, and holiday cancellation fees are double and due right away, with holidays counted from two days before. Services must be chosen at booking; dropping part of an appointment on the day counts as a same-day cancellation. The salon may refuse service. Cash, American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Zelle (not through Wells Fargo) and PayPal are accepted. Credit and debit payments carry a 3% processing fee, and checks, money orders, IOUs and credit are not accepted.
