Facials are customized to the individual. The Rea Signature Custom Facial includes steam, extractions when needed, and a choice between a natural or an organic product line. Clear Skin and Back Facial sessions address breakouts, and a Teen Facial is offered for ages 12 and up. A Gentleman's Facial is formulated for men's skin and includes a neck and shoulder massage. Hydro-dermabrasion is offered for texture, congestion, acne scars and fine lines, and is not suited to active acne, active rosacea or inflamed skin.

Micro-channeling is available as a single session, a three-session package, or with the neck and décolleté added. The spa recommends a monthly schedule for this treatment. Add-ons can be combined with facials, including LED light therapy (blue light for acne and red light for firmness), oxygen infusion, a chemical peel, high frequency, deep pore cleansing, an eye treatment, a cooling Glacier Ice Globes massage, an aromatherapy scalp massage using organic essential oils, and an exfoliating foot treatment with a mango enzyme mask and warm booties.

Lash lifts and tints are offered, and the spa says results last six to eight weeks with no maintenance. Waxing covers the face, brows, lip, chin, sides and underarms and uses a botanical line with natural beeswax, cold towels and soothing serums.

A visit starts with a consultation with a licensed aesthetician. Clients should arrive 15 minutes early, and towels and robes are provided so no one has to undress in front of others. Phones are kept off and voices kept low. Booking is online or by phone at 630-544-0286, and after-hours requests can be made by phone. Appointments are held with a major credit card, which is charged only if the slot goes unfilled. Rescheduling needs 24 hours' notice; cancelling three or more treatments needs 48 hours' notice.

Treatments are customized to each client's skin, and the spa uses natural products selected for facials, with an organic line available on request.
