RBF Beauty began in 2018 as RBF Beauty and Esthetics, when Jamie Fisher worked from her apartment dining room. The business moved into a studio space in 2020, and its services now include microblading, lash extensions, tanning, face waxing and advanced skin care.

Brows are a major focus. Microblading uses premium pigment made for permanent makeup, and the salon offers microblading, microshading and combo brow. The salon says combo brow is its most popular brow style. A full brow microblading appointment takes about two hours, starting with mapping and followed by two to three pigment passes per brow, and a two-phase numbing process is used. Brows need a second session, called the 6 week touch, after the first procedure, and most microblading clients need a touch-up or color refresh each year.

Lash extensions come in Classic, Classic Plus, Hybrid, Volume, Wet Look Volume and Mega Volume styles. Classic places one extension on each natural lash, while Classic Plus uses a split Y-style extension for twice the fullness. Hybrid mixes classic and volume extensions, usually in a 50/50 blend. Volume styles use several thinner fanned extensions per lash, Wet Look Volume keeps the fans together for a spiky look, and Mega Volume adds double the density and fluff of traditional volume.

Tanning options are Classic Tan, Rapid Tan and Dark AF Tan. Classic Tan gives a medium dark tan with an 8-10 hour developing time, Rapid Tan ranges from light to dark depending on rinse time, and Dark AF Tan gives a rich dark tan and can be rapid or classic. Face waxing covers the brows, chin, ears, sideburns, nostrils, upper lip and neck, and includes a full face option. Advanced skin care includes microneedling, used to tighten and lift skin and to address the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pores, stretch marks and scars, and chemical peels, which exfoliate with different peel types for different results.

Appointments are requested through an online form where clients choose skincare, lash extensions, microblading, tanning or waxing. Clients can also call 801-824-7788, and the salon prefers text.

The salon has offered training for people entering the beauty industry since 2025. Listed options include a Lash and Brow Tech license course of 270 hours, taking about 16 weeks part time, listed at $7,800, and a Basic Esthetics Safety Permit course of 200 hours, taking about 12 weeks part time, listed at $6,500. The permit covers facials, body treatments and full body waxing. A Facial Wax Training course is listed at $500, and the RBF Beauty Future Artist Scholarship is also offered.
