Raw Hair works out of its own private suite inside Parlor 91, in the Triangle Plaza on Capitol Drive just east of Lilly Road. Parking is plentiful, and clients can enjoy free wifi, snacks and beverages during a visit. The suite is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 to 8, and Friday from 9 to 3.

Services are priced by package, so listed prices are starting points that can shift with the time needed and the color used. A 60-minute cut below the chin, including shampoo, blow dry and style, is $67, and a 30-minute cut above the chin with the same finish is $42. Color appointments range from a 1.5-hour root touch-up with blow dry to a 3-hour full dimensional color and cut.

Appointments can be made online, by phone, or by email, and messages sent through the contact form are answered within 24 hours. A late cancellation, meaning one made less than 48 hours ahead, is charged half the price of the booked appointment. For wedding hair trials and holding a date, call the salon. Wedding looks are starting at $90 apiece, plus a single $40 charge for travel to venues within 20 miles.

The salon uses Maria Nila haircolor and products, which it describes as vegan and cruelty free. Raw Hair is a Green Circle Salon certified business, and according to the salon, 95% of its waste is recycled.
