The team includes board-certified dermatologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and estheticians. Care is individualized to each patient's skin. Appointments can be booked through the patient portal by choosing an office, a provider and a time. Patient forms can be completed ahead of a visit, and patients are asked to bring photo ID, their insurance card (front and back) and a list of current medications and allergies. The contact form is not meant for medical details, so medical questions go to the office by phone. Hours differ by location: Atlantic Highlands has Saturday hours until 2:00 PM, and Woodbridge, Fresno and Hanford have Friday hours.
On the medical side, the practice offers skin cancer screening with dermoscopy, a non-invasive full-body exam, and recommends an annual full-body exam for all patients, with more frequent checks for those at higher risk. Suspicious moles are biopsied, and biopsies are performed in the office under local anesthesia, with results typically available within 7 to 10 business days. Mohs surgery is performed in the office at the Atlantic Highlands, Manhattan and Fresno locations, and the practice states its surgeons have extensive fellowship training in the procedure. The practice describes Mohs micrographic surgery as having a cure rate of up to 99% for certain skin cancers. Confocal microscopy examines lesions without a biopsy and takes about 5 to 15 minutes. Dermatopathology is performed in-house at the Fresno office.
The cosmetic side includes Botox and other neuromodulators, which the practice describes as FDA-approved injectables, along with Juvederm and Restylane fillers, IPL, CO2 laser resurfacing and Nd:YAG laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, DiamondGlow, truSculpt body contouring for non-invasive fat reduction, PRP-based hair restoration, sclerotherapy for spider and varicose veins, blepharoplasty for drooping upper eyelids, tattoo removal and facials with a licensed esthetician.
