Every visit starts with what the salon calls a Randolph's Signature Consultation, where stylists ask about personal style, interests and lifestyle before any service begins. Clients can also book a pre-visit consultation online, and a stylist reaches out within 48 hours, excluding Sundays and holidays.
The salon reports more than 90 team members, ten of whom have been with it for 20 years or more. Its stated mission is to raise standards in the beauty industry by educating its staff, with continuing education on current trends and educators brought in from around the world. The team includes more than 25 Redken Certified Haircolorists, 15 Design Stylists and 35 Master Specialists, plus Redken Artists.
The salon says it received the Redken Educational Excellence Award twice and was named a top 200 salon by Salon Today Magazine for 12 years in a row. Its news page also lists a 2022 Salon Today Top 200 win, a November 2021 Salon Today cover feature and a June 2021 feature by the City of Rochester Hills.
Women's service prices do not include styling. The salon sells hair care and styling products, and staff help clients choose what to use at home. An associate program supports early-career stylists, students are welcome to shadow in the salon, and stylists with any amount of experience are invited to apply.
Each visit begins with a signature consultation about personal style, interests and lifestyle, and the team is built around ongoing education.
