The menu is grouped into basic cuts, color, highlighting, balayage, Brazilian Blowouts, permanent waves, relaxers, nail services and special occasion and add-on hair services. Prices listed for each service may vary depending on the stylist, hair length and hair thickness. Most services can be booked online, while creative and corrective color require a consultation, which is arranged by calling the salon.
The salon asks clients to arrive at their scheduled time and to wear a salon cape during visits, and to keep handbags and other personal belongings with them.
Clients who have a concern about a service can have it addressed free of charge within one week of the original appointment. Retail products can be returned within 15 days with a receipt. Gift certificates are available in any amount and can be used toward services or products, and new clients receive a Davines welcome gift on their second visit or on request. Payment is accepted by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover, but not American Express, and tips are given in cash or check made out to the stylist, or through PayPal or Venmo, since tips are no longer processed on cards.
The salon works within a Davines concept framework and emphasizes consultation for color work, with stylists building their own specialties across cutting, color and texture services.
