About

R&R Wellness, also called R&R Wellness Studio, is a massage and wellness business in Morgan Hill. The studio says its goal is to help clients rehabilitate and rejuvenate, and it points to muscles as an under-treated source of pain.

The massage menu starts with a customized therapeutic massage that blends Swedish, deep tissue, sports, stretching and neuromuscular techniques, adjusted to each client's needs. A rejuvenating relaxation massage uses long, fluid strokes with light to firm pressure. Visceral integration work targets the abdomen, digestive organs, diaphragm and fascia, beginning with moist heat. Craniofacial integration includes TMJ and intra-oral release using medical-grade gloves, and may add Theraface hot and cold therapy, peppermint scalp massage, gua sha, gemstone face rolling and warm towel compresses. Hot stone massage is offered in 90 and 120 minute sessions.

The far infrared sauna is a dry-heat, non-cedar sauna using ceramic heaters. It is sold alone or as an add-on to a massage or facial, in 25, 45 and 60 minute sessions. The studio suggests one to three sessions a week for three to five weeks, then monthly maintenance, and asks clients to bring their own water and a towel. Sauna sessions are $10 off when booked with another service and $5 off when paid in cash.

Sessions are by appointment only, booked online through Vagaro or by text or call. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the booked service, and a no-call, no-show is charged the full amount. Major credit cards, FSA and HSA cards, and cash are accepted.

Each service is adjusted to the client's individual injuries or preferences. The studio's stated aim is rehabilitation and rejuvenation.
