QUIKTOX

About

QUIKTOX opened its Costa Mesa studio in 2024.

Each visit begins with a consultation, followed by a treatment plan and then the injection in a treatment room. Consultations are led by nurse practitioners and include an AI-powered wrinkle analysis. The first 15-minute in-person injectable consultation is free and may lead to a treatment add-on, while other consultations carry a $50 refundable deposit, with a $50 charge for cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment. Paperwork is completed digitally during booking, and cost estimates are given at the consultation based on the number of units needed.

Botox is priced at $12 per unit, and typical sessions use 20 to 60 units. The studio says dosing is individualized to the treatment area and the amount used. Clients should expect treatments every three to four months. According to the site, the four wrinkle relaxers used are approved for lines around the eyes, between the eyebrows and along the forehead, and the site recommends starting to treat dynamic lines around when they first appear, often between ages 25 and 30. Botox and retinoids are not used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

The studio's prescription retinoid formula is developed by its in-house clinical team, is not sold at pharmacies, and combines tretinoin, vitamin C, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. It is applied at night as a cream or gel, and treatment begins at the lowest effective dose to limit irritation. The site notes that full effects can take up to four months, since collagen production takes time. The mineral sunscreens are described as zinc oxide-based.

Common areas, including the lobby, restrooms, photo booth and refresh area, are sanitized routinely, and treatment rooms are well-ventilated and wiped down with bleach wipes between guests. Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the studio.

Each visit moves from consultation to a treatment plan and then the injection, with Botox dosing individualized and retinoids started at the lowest effective dose.
