The Aesthetic Intention was founded by Carol Nguyen together with Dr. Monica Bonakdar. The practice describes itself as combining advanced medical aesthetics with a personalized approach, and it aims to enhance a person's natural features rather than change them.

Treatment begins with a consultation, which can be booked through the website or by phone or email. From there, each plan is customized to the individual and guided from assessment through post-care. Injectable treatments follow a set sequence: consultation, mapping of the treatment plan, then precise injection.

The menu is grouped into facials, injectables and wrinkle relaxers. Skin Rejuvenation & Microneedling uses controlled micro-channels to stimulate collagen and improve texture, tone and firmness, and is usually done as a series of three sessions about four weeks apart. A topical numbing cream is applied first. Full Facial Rejuvenation with Filler focuses on balance, volume and proportion, covering cheek and midface contouring, lip and perioral work, and jawline and chin definition. Sculptra is a biostimulatory filler that builds volume gradually by stimulating the body's own collagen.

Wrinkle relaxer treatments include Dysport and Daxxify, which soften targeted muscle activity to smooth frown lines, forehead creases and crow's feet. The practice aims to keep natural movement and an individual look rather than a frozen appearance. Dysport is described as working much like Botox while spreading somewhat more evenly over larger areas such as the forehead.
