Queen Bee Esthetics

Queen Bee Esthetics opened in 2017 and is owned by Britt Hobbs, a licensed esthetician who founded the spa. It is located in Unit 1 at 7354 Illinois 162 in Troy, inside Social Salon, and describes itself as a day spa. The spa is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed the rest of the week.

The menu centers on Hydrafacial, with three versions: a 30-minute Fast HydraFacial Signature that cleans under steam, extracts, hydrates and protects the skin; a 70-minute Relaxing HydraFacial Deluxe that adds LightStim LED light therapy and a specialty super serum skin booster; and an 85-minute Relaxing HydraFacial Platinum that opens with a 15-minute lymphatic drainage therapy and also includes LightStim LED. The Deluxe and Platinum versions include a complimentary aromatherapy massage of the scalp, face, neck, ears, shoulders, arms and hands. The site says Hydrafacial suits all skin types, is non-invasive and needs no downtime. Monthly sessions are recommended for upkeep, and most clients come every six weeks.

Beyond Hydrafacial, the spa offers Dermaplane Pro facials, London Brow lamination, Elleebana lash lifts, and SkinPen microneedling, a 45-minute service listed at $250.00. The site says microneedling with SkinPen is used to reduce the visibility of scars, melasma, hyperpigmentation and enlarged pores. Acne clients can book Face Reality treatments, where the spa builds a personal routine around the Face Reality product line.

Booking requires a credit card kept on file. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice; a late cancellation or same-day no-show without notice is charged in full or in part as the policy describes, and arriving 10 or more minutes late may mean rescheduling. Clients under 16 need parental consent, with a parent or guardian present during services, and 16- and 17-year-olds need signed, dated written consent. Retail purchases can be returned or exchanged within 30 days, and the spa sells skincare online and sells gift cards.

Treatments are personalized to each client's skin concerns, and the spa recommends home skincare between professional visits.
