Stylists work with all hair types, from straight and wavy to curly and coily. Beyond hair, the menu includes massage, facials, makeup, waxing and tinting, hair extensions, and brow and lash shaping. Complimentary consultations with a stylist are offered, and an online matchmaking quiz can pair guests with a stylist.

A cut or color visit begins with a consultation and a shampoo and conditioning. Cut and style services, other than formal styling and updos, also include a complimentary hot towel, warm eye pillows, and a neck, shoulder and hand massage. Listed prices are starting points based on how long a service takes. The final amount can change with the stylist's experience, hair texture, density and length, and any extra time needed. Pricing runs in tiers from one to four, with some variation among stylists based on education and experience.

Stylists move through four levels, New, Emerging, Advanced and Senior, based on experience. New stylists complete a 90-day training program focused on Aveda, and stylists receive 32 hours of paid continuing education each year. Aveda-trained technicians also take part in ongoing workshops in cutting, styling and color.

New guests reserving an appointment are asked to keep a credit card on file. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 24 hours' notice, and late cancellations and no-shows are charged 50% of the scheduled service price. Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The salon also supports local charities through donations, raffle prizes and volunteer work.

Built around Aveda products and a higher-end spa experience, with small complimentary touches during cut and color visits. Prices start from the time a service takes and are adjusted for each guest's hair and the stylist's experience.
