Training is hands-on. Students practice on real clients in the on-campus salon and spa, and the curriculum covers hair styling, skincare and nail care. The school describes its classes as small, with a low student-to-instructor ratio, and its instructors as experienced and focused on student success. It states that its cosmetology program meets state licensing requirements, and students should confirm details with their state board.

The Student Services Clinic lets the public book esthetic, makeup, waxing, nail and hair services that are performed exclusively by students. Clinic services are by appointment only, no refunds apply to them, and late arrivals lose their appointment after 15 minutes.

Programs run on different schedules. Cosmetology is 1,500 hours and takes about 15 to 18 months, esthetics is 750 hours over roughly 8 to 10 months, and nail technology is 350 hours over about 4 to 6 months, depending on schedule. Tuition is listed at $15,000 for cosmetology, $9,000 for esthetics and $6,500 for nail technology, with program deposits due at registration and a $100 registration fee for all programs. Tuition is subject to change. Refresher courses are offered with a flexible schedule and independent study at the student's own pace. The school does not accept FAFSA, offers private pay with monthly payments based on training length, may offer scholarships, and works directly with the Department of Veterans Affairs for eligible GI Bill applicants. Campus tours are free and by appointment.
