Project Aesthetics began in 2017 as a mobile waxing business that made house calls across the Inland Empire. The owner opened a private studio in historic Downtown Redlands in 2021, at 550 Orange Street, Suite D.
The studio's stated mission is to build community, educate clients and beauty professionals, and help people feel more confident through aesthetics. The aim is for clients to leave feeling like themselves, a little more polished. The studio describes its client experience as elevated yet comfortable.
Each brow appointment covers a consultation, shaping, product recommendations, and a lesson on styling brows at home. A complimentary styling with Kelley Baker brow products is included with every brow appointment. A lash lift and tint, a semi-permanent treatment that lifts and curls natural lashes and includes a tint that darkens them, can also be booked alone or paired with a brow wax.
Brow waxing is $50 for existing clients and $60 for new clients. Combo prices are listed separately for existing and new clients. All appointments are by appointment only, and the studio is closed on Mondays and Sundays.
Appointments must be cancelled through the booking application at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less notice, and arrivals after a 5-minute grace period, are charged the full service cost. Services can be added or removed through the booking application up to 24 hours before the appointment. Guests may wait in the waiting area but may not join the treatment room.
Brow work is built around enhancing the shape and fullness a client already has, with an emphasis on classic, natural results.
The studio describes its setting as elevated yet comfortable, in a historic downtown building.
