PRMP Beauty

PRMP Beauty began as a brow studio founded by Nicole Lovelace, and it later grew to include professional products and client education. The name is pronounced 'primp'. The studio is on Georgia Avenue, with street parking out front or on the side street Shepherd, and adjacent lots reserved for building tenants.

Appointments are made by reservation through the online calendar, which shows current openings. Walk-ins are not taken, but same-day appointments can be booked through the online portal or by calling before noon. A valid credit card is needed to reserve, some services carry a non-refundable retainer, and balances are paid at the end of the visit. Children under 12 are not allowed, and cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead are charged.

New Guests usually begin with New Guest Reset, which covers a consultation, an assessment of brows or skin, and guidance on maintenance. Returning guests who have been away for a long time can book Brow Assessment & Reset, which includes brow shaping, a complimentary brow design using powder, pencil and concealer, and a hydrating under-eye treatment. Brow and Lash Tinting uses one of three temporary dye types, selected for hair density, brow sparseness, skin type and habits, and typically lasts up to two weeks.

Waxing is done with soft wax and hard wax, with hard wax used for more sensitive areas and soft wax for larger areas. Sugaring is not offered, but a soy-based hair removal alternative is available for sensitive clients. The studio also sells the Brow Zhuzh line and the PRMP Beauty Collection so that clients can continue care at home between visits.

The studio puts healthy brows first and chooses recommendations with long-term results in mind, taking a skin-first view rather than following trends or quick fixes.
