Sugaring is the hair removal method used here. It is made from sugar, lemon juice and water, and it can be used on any area of the body with hair except men's beards. It is not offered for large areas. Kim takes sugar from the jar with a clean latex glove for each use, and no muslin strips are used. The business says sugaring is less painful than traditional waxing, that it pulls hair in the direction of growth so less breaks at the surface, and that results can last longer than with waxing.
