Color is the main focus, with corrective color, balayage, highlights and full-color applications. Corrective color is the most costly and time-consuming kind of color work, and it often begins with a decolorizing treatment before the new color is applied.
Before booking, clients can take a free 15-minute consultation with a stylist to settle on services, pricing and the time needed. New clients add a credit card to their account on the Gloss Genius booking site and place a non-refundable retainer toward the day-of service, which transfers if they reschedule within the allotted time. Deposits for new clients are $50 for most services, $100 for long balayage, bleach and tone virgin hair and spiral perms, and $40 for a long haircut. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice, and no-shows, are charged 50% of the service. Clients unhappy with a service should contact the salon within 48 hours to arrange an adjustment, which must take place within 7 days of the original visit.
Aims to keep hair looking at home the way it looked after a salon visit, with color work as a core focus.
