About

Prestige Hair Loss Solutions LLC is run by owner and operator Penny Harms, who specializes in full custom cranial hair prostheses, wigs and hair accessories. The business serves people experiencing hair loss for medical and non-medical reasons, and it accepts prescriptions for full cranial hair prostheses. Clients in Lake, Sumter and Marion counties and the wider Central Florida region are served.

Visits begin with a free, no-pressure private consultation held in a confidential private room. The business describes its aim as educating clients so they can make informed decisions about their hair loss options. It also provides guidance on insurance coverage questions for cranial hair prostheses and advises clients to ask their doctor for a prescription.

Hair replacement work includes full custom system design, system attachment using bonds and tape tabs, hair add-ons, repairs, and tucks and tape tab base repairs for wigs. Salon services cover cuts for natural hair and for hair systems, cuts for people with thinning hair, color and perms.

Each Cyberhair piece is custom made for the individual. Consultations for those lines are one-on-one with Penny Harms and are scheduled through her assistant.

The business also offers Hair Support, a treatment program for thinning hair that cleanses follicles and stimulates the scalp. It describes Hair Support as effective for hair loss, thinning hair, alopecia areata and baldness. The business lists several hospitals and medical centers among its vendor relationships, including VA Medical Centers in Florida and Central Florida Health Alliance.

The business focuses on health through beauty and works alongside health care professionals. Its consultations are aimed at helping clients weigh their hair loss options with clear information.

The office is set up much like a doctor's office.
