Precise Experience

Precise Experience is the practice of Ling, a self-employed stylist and Master Loctician who works from home. Ling has been doing hair for over 15 years and has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2017. According to the business, clients come from New York City, New Jersey and the Philadelphia area.

Because there is a consultation step, new clients book a consultation first for a $15 fee before they can book a service appointment. A deposit at booking secures the appointment and is applied to the total, but it is non-refundable and non-transferable. The remaining balance is due before the service, and any extra services added after payment are paid in cash. Clients should arrive with hair free of previous styles, or a take-down charge applies. Extra guests and children are not allowed, and clients should expect to be photographed or filmed for the stylist's content. Once an appointment is confirmed, a confirmation email with the full address and directions is sent. Same-day or squeeze-in appointments carry an extra $100 fee, and same-day cancellation openings are posted on the website.

Timing and cancellation rules are set out clearly. There is a 5-minute grace period for late arrivals; arriving 6 to 10 minutes late adds a $35 fee, and arriving more than 10 minutes late cancels the appointment. One free cancellation or reschedule is allowed up to 48 hours after booking, made through the confirmation email. After that window, the deposit is forfeited and the card on file is charged 50% of the service. A same-day cancellation is charged 100% of the service, and a no-call, no-show is charged 100% of the reserved services and removed from future booking. Clients should raise any concerns before leaving, since the business is not responsible for concerns raised after 24 hours. These policies apply to both new and returning clients.
