Pompano Beauty Academy, run by Pompano Beauty Academy LLC, is located at 750 East Sample Road in Pompano Beach, inside Ann-LASH Beauty Bar. Anniesha McDonald founded the school and also oversees its instruction. According to the school, its model blends state licensing preparation with job placement assistance, workplace skills, mental health resources, business startup guidance and support after graduation. The school claims to be the only Florida beauty program that offers both hybrid and fully in-person classes. It does not promise employment after graduation.

The flagship training is the Advanced Aesthetician Program, a 220-hour course taught over 10 weeks with hybrid learning. Students practice advanced facial techniques, skin analysis and client consultation, along with speed waxing, lash extensions and makeup essentials. Business topics such as business EIN, business credit, profit and loss, business planning and a pitch competition are included. Graduates earn several certifications, including sugaring, nano needling, dermaplaning, chemical peel, microdermabrasion, hydro-dermabrasion, yoni steaming, lash lift and tint, and brow lamination, and an Esthetician License through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Online tests and hands-on practice in the school's own space are part of the course, and workshops are taught by industry experts. Beauty, Business and Beyond is a separate full-tuition esthetics course covering facials, lash extensions, waxing, sugaring, makeup artistry, product making and business basics. The Hybrid Esthetics Program offers flexible hybrid and in-person training.

Classes run in 10-week semesters, each preceded by a mandatory orientation, with four start dates a year. Sessions are offered in person and online, in morning or evening blocks, and class sizes are small. Student kits with tools and textbooks are included with enrollment, and a full syllabus is provided at registration. Registration office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 7:00pm, and the school is closed on Sundays.

Tuition can be paid in full or through in-house plans billed weekly or bi-weekly over 10 or 20 weeks. A deposit of 50 percent of tuition is due within 48 hours of booking to hold a spot, and the balance is due before class starts. Deposits are non-refundable once a reservation is confirmed, and students who cancel less than 48 hours before class are not eligible for a tuition refund. One complimentary reschedule is allowed with at least 48 hours notice, and the rescheduled class must be completed within 30 days. Payment is accepted by cash, Zelle, Apple Pay and Cash App, with an electronic receipt. Card payments carry a 4 percent processing fee. The school does not offer Federal Student Aid, but it works with outside lenders that offer private loans, including for applicants with lower credit scores.

Beyond licensure, the school runs bootcamps in lash extensions, lash lifts, brow lamination, dermaplaning, nano needling, speed waxing and sugaring, along with continuing education for working professionals and an alumni program for its graduates. Its Becoming HER offering provides coaching and mentoring. The Community Impact Division partners with schools, nonprofits and municipalities on workforce and beauty education, and the No Dream Left Behind scholarship awards one student a month tuition assistance toward the Hybrid Esthetics Program. The Incubator Program supports graduates in client retention, marketing, pricing and business operations, and qualified graduates may be considered for a non-guaranteed interim instructor role. Workshops taught by industry experts are open to the public.
