Ann-LASH Beauty Bar is located in a suite at 750 E. Sample Road in Pompano Beach and is owned and run by Anniesha "Ann" McDonald, who also works there as the master esthetician. Clients ring the doorbell on arrival because the door stays locked during business hours. Visits are by appointment only, booked at least 12 hours ahead, and same-day appointments are not offered. Services are open to both men and women.

Treatments center on facials, sugaring, lash services and brow lamination. The Deep Pore Cleaning Facial takes 50 minutes and is listed at $95, and Brazilian and underarm sugaring takes 45 minutes and is listed at $85. The sugar paste is made from natural ingredients and kept at room temperature or lukewarm rather than hot, and hair needs to be about one-sixteenth of an inch long. The 7 Day medical grade chemical peel is applied in about 30 minutes and washed off the next morning, after which clients peel for roughly three to four days. A home post-peel kit is included, a complimentary consultation comes first, and a Classic Deep Pore Cleaning or Beau Facial is required beforehand.

The Keratin Lash Lift with Tint takes about 1 hour 30 minutes and is listed at $125. It uses a solution without formaldehyde or peroxide, with aloe and glycerin included, and typically lasts 6 to 8 weeks with maintenance as needed. Lash extensions take about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes depending on coverage and the technician's experience; clients arrive without eye makeup and are booked through Anastasia's Lash Studio. Brow lamination is offered as a quick way to shape brows.

Booking more than one service saves between $15 and $35. Deposits are required for every appointment, are non-refundable and non-transferable, and are applied to the service cost; they can be paid by card over the phone, Zelle or Cash App. Appointments can be rescheduled without penalty up to 24 hours ahead, twice at most, and cancellations or changes with less than 24 hours' notice forfeit the deposit. Clients have a 10-minute grace period, and a no-call, no-show carries a fee of 50% of the service amount. If the business has to cancel on short notice, the client receives 20% off the next identical service. Clients who are unhappy should say so within 24 hours to receive a free touch-up.

Treatment-led, with an emphasis on skin care, sugaring, and lash and brow work, and a preference for a lash lift solution free of formaldehyde and peroxide.
