PNW Cosmetic Acupuncture grew out of PNW Acupuncture, PLLC, which opened in 2017. After a pandemic closure, the practice reopened in 2021 in a new location under its current name. The office is plant-filled and modern, set up to feel calm and restful.

Visits are built around cosmetic acupuncture for the face, along with microneedling and nanoneedling using stem cells. Microneedling uses a motorized tool with needles that reach 0.5 to 3mm into the skin. Nanoneedling works only on the upper 0.15mm and needs no recovery time. Every microneedling and nanoneedling session includes light therapy, relaxation acupuncture and a 15ml custom herbal and stem cell serum to take home. Microneedling is spaced no more than once a month, with nanoneedling and facial acupuncture added between sessions.

Beyond skin care, the practice offers mood and seasonal support, including a visit for seasonal affective disorder that can include LED light therapy, and a visit for stress and anxiety. Internal herbal medicine is prescribed for concerns such as hormonal acne, rosacea, cycle balance, sleep, stress recovery and hair and nail support. Injections of B-12, D3 and glutathione are plant-based, and cupping, CBD cupping and red light therapy are also available. Pregnancy bundles are offered with pregnancy-safe nanoneedling, yellow light therapy and body balance acupuncture.

Products are vegan and cruelty-free. The stem cell serums use PhytoCellTec, an apple-derived extract, combined with herbal extracts. Pre-formulated Sun, Moon and Stars serums and botanical clay masks are sold in the office and at PNWskincare.com.
