Stylists cut curly hair dry so the natural curl pattern is visible before any shaping. The salon says its stylists are specially trained for curly cutting, and it teaches clients about their curl type, how to apply products and how to style at home. New clients are booked for a First Time Curly Cut, even if they have had a curly cut elsewhere, and clients who have gone more than a year without a cut are booked the same way. Cuts are recommended every six months and express cuts every four months, according to the salon's FAQ. Kids cuts are for children under 10 and must be booked by phone or text; clients 11 and older book an adult cut.

Clients are asked to arrive with clean, dry, detangled hair, with light product and no clips, ponytails, braids or hats. The first 15 minutes of detangling are free, then it costs $30 plus $1 per minute until the hair is detangled.

Booking is available online, by phone or by text. Appointments require a credit card on file. Changes must be made by phone or text, not through Instagram or email. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice to avoid a fee, and same-day cancellations are charged $50. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may lead to cancellation with a $50 fee, or a $20 late fee if the appointment can still be fit in. No-shows without notice are charged the full scheduled service fees. Confirmation messages go out 72 hours ahead, and not replying does not count as cancelling. No refunds are offered, but complimentary adjustments may be made within 7 days of a service, subject to management approval.

Color services require a consultation for new clients, new color clients and anyone making a major change, and the consultation fee is separate from the service. When a cut and color are booked together, the cut is done first. Perms require a consultation and are scheduled only by phone. Prices may vary by hair length and density and are subject to change.

The salon is open Tuesday 9am to 6pm, Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 4pm, Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm, and is closed Sunday and Monday.

Cuts are done dry so the natural curl shows before shaping, and clients are taught about their curl type, product use and styling so results hold between visits.
