Pixie & Prim

Pixie & Prim has offered stylists chair rental and salon suites since 2016, the year Jenna created the business. Jenna works as a hairstylist and owner alongside a team of hairstylists, and the salon sits near the highway.

The building is set up for both clients and stylists. Five private suites and styling stations get natural light, chair rental sits alongside the suites, and there is a beverage station for guests, private laundry, a retail area, a team break room and a waiting area for clients.

Hair services cover cuts for women, men and children, bang trims and undercuts, wash and blowouts, and formal styling. Color runs from refreshes to full, dimensional, platinum and fashion shades, with foil work also offered. Extensions are customized to each client and priced by the look they want, including machine weft, K-tip and I-tip styles, and a consultation is needed before pricing.

The Head Spa menu has four services ranging from 30 to 90 minutes. Every version includes a scalp analysis, massage, exfoliation, a deep cleanse and conditioning, with a light blow-dry from the 30-minute level up. The longer options add a mini facial, a hair masque, vibration comb scalp work and a neck, shoulder and hand massage. Head Spa services do not include extensions, braids or tinsel.

The salon says it aims for every client to feel confident, empowered and comfortable expressing themselves. It describes itself as community-centered and family-oriented, and says its team is made up of creative and talented stylists.
