Pink Winks Studio

Pink Winks Studio is a brow-only studio in District Heights, Maryland, run by Jaela, who works as the brow artist and owns the business. The menu covers three services: brow waxing for shaping and removing unwanted hair, brow tinting for a semi-permanent darkening, and brow lamination for a set, lifted shape. Clients can combine these services.

Jaela customizes each set of brows, from soft and natural looks to bolder, more defined ones, and takes time with each client so they feel listened to. The studio aims to be a comfortable, professional space where clients are not judged.

Booking requires a non-refundable deposit, and the remaining balance is paid at the appointment by Apple Pay, Zelle or cash. Clients should arrive on time, and a 15-minute grace period applies; arriving later may mean rescheduling and forfeiting the deposit. No additional guests are allowed. Cancellations or changes need at least 24 hours' notice, and late cancellations or no-shows lose the deposit.

Before a visit, clients are asked to stop using retinoids, retinol, tretinoin, benzoyl peroxide and AHA, BHA or other exfoliating products on the brows for 5 to 7 days. Before a wax, chemical peels, facials, microneedling, laser treatments, brow lamination and strong exfoliation should be avoided for 7 to 14 days, and tweezing, threading or shaving should stop 2 to 3 weeks ahead. Clients should share their medications, skincare routines and any skin conditions before a service.
