Children sit in vehicle-themed styling chairs and can watch a movie during their haircut. The space has whimsical paintings and a wooden train table, and once a cut is finished, kids can visit a treasure chest. The salon says its stylists have experience with children of all ages, including toddlers, and that it welcomes every child whether they arrive smiling or crying.
The menu covers clipper and shear haircuts for all ages, with separate boys', girls', kids', dads' and moms' options and a few longer or more detailed styles. A First Haircut Package includes a haircut, a keepsake certificate and a souvenir lock of hair, and the salon asks parents to call for more details. A Ten Haircut Package gives ten cuts for the price of nine.
Ear piercing is performed by trained staff using sterile, hypoallergenic earrings. Shampoo is available as an add-on, and the kid's cut with shampoo uses a kid-friendly shampoo.
Walk-ins are welcome when there is availability, and appointments can be booked online or through the salon's app. Most haircuts are booked for 20 to 30 minutes, and a bang trim for 10. Clients are asked to arrive before their scheduled time, since late arrivals may be rescheduled to keep the rest of the day on track. If a family cannot make an appointment, they are asked to cancel so another family can be served. Stylists may sometimes run behind on haircuts.
