About

Phoenix Skin Spa was created by Dr. Lee P. Laris to offer skin treatments on a monthly schedule at a lower cost than frequent visits to a dermatology office. The business describes itself as the first of its kind in Arizona. Its visits are built around regular treatments paired with care at home, with the aim of making skin care easier to follow.

A visit usually starts with a free consultation, which can be arranged by phone. Scheduling an appointment or consultation requires a $50 fee that is non-refundable but can be applied toward treatment. Appointments are encouraged, walk-ins are welcome, and cancellations need 24 hours' notice; a cancellation or no-show with less notice forfeits the $50 fee. Financing is offered through two preferred companies. Hours are Monday through Thursday 7am to 5pm and Friday 7am to 11am, and the office is closed on Sundays.

The spa treatments come in three programs. Rebalance is a clear-complexion series that combines microdermabrasion, red and blue light therapy and a glycolic peel. Rejuvenate uses laser rejuvenation and IPL photo rejuvenation and ends with a glycolic peel. Restore alternates monthly between PicoSure FOCUS and micro-needling. Each 30-minute spa appointment includes a treatment plan built for the client's skin type, and clients leave with a customized kit of medical grade skin care products. The business states that its spa treatments are suitable for all skin types and tones, and that all treatments are performed by board-certified professionals.

Botox is priced by treated area rather than by unit, with single-area, two-area and three-area rates. Lip flip is offered for one lip or both. Botox injections are given by board-certified physicians or physician assistants, take a few minutes per area and need no anesthesia. Full results are described as appearing four to seven days after treatment and lasting an average of three to four months, and the business notes that individual results may vary. Fillers and other injectables listed include Juvederm, Restylane, Voluma, Belotero, Xeomin and PRP.

The laser menu covers hair reduction, tattoo removal, skin rejuvenation with several systems including Thermage FLX, ThermiVa, Venus Freeze and Venus Viva, MiraDry sweat reduction, and blue and red light therapy. Chemical peels and facials are priced from $60 to $300 depending on the treatment, and the HydraFacial MD range includes HydraExpress, Clarifying HydraFacial, HydraLuxxe and HydraMax, with neck and decolletage add-ons.

Physician-directed, with a focus on keeping skin care simple to follow through regular monthly treatments and home care, and a treatment plan set for each client's skin type.
