Booking, questions and rescheduling are handled by text message at (512) 937-9701, and the salon operates as a text-only business. Every blonding and lived-in color appointment opens with a consultation about goals, color history and maintenance schedule. New clients start with a consultation covering hair history, texture, scalp needs, lifestyle and maintenance goals. Haircuts are one-hour appointments priced from $79 to $139. Curly Cut appointments run about one hour and 30 minutes and are priced from $119 to $179. Full highlight appointments take about three hours and are priced from $199 to $250 or more. Color pricing varies with the amount of product used.

Recurring care plans suit clients who want scheduled hair and scalp maintenance through the year. The plans include the Executive Hair Plan, Monthly Maintenance, Seasonal Hair & Scalp Ritual, Color Continuity Plan, Natural Texture Care Rhythm and Teen Texture Confidence Plan. Plans are generally booked in advance and paid at each visit unless otherwise arranged, and special payment arrangements may be possible for larger plans or extended schedules, discussed with the stylist.

The salon asks for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or changes. Changes made with less notice may be charged up to 50 to 100 percent of the service total. Appointments more than 15 minutes late may be cancelled or rescheduled, and guests unhappy with a service are asked to tell the salon within seven days. A $2 Earth Contribution is added to each visit to fund sustainability programs.

The salon says 95 percent of its waste, including clippings, foils and color tubes, is recovered, recycled or repurposed.
