Permaesthetics was founded in 2018 by Paula Salamanca, who started the business in her living room with a massage table as the treatment bed. It began as a single brow artist's practice and grew into a team over the following five years. The studio now operates from Aragon Avenue in Coral Gables, and the site notes it was previously known as Oh My Brows Miami.

The studio offers permanent makeup for brows, eyeliner and lips, along with lash extensions in full sets or refills, lash lifts, waxing, tattoo removal, and combined brow appointments. Clients have booked ombre powder brows, brow lamination and henna brows. Payment plans are available, and services are offered in English and Spanish. Gift cards are sold through the online booking page.

The studio describes its mission as creating a welcoming, comfortable space where clients can relax and trust the team. It calls itself the top-rated beauty and permanent makeup studio in Miami and says it ranks second-highest rated in Florida, with over 700 five-star Google reviews and more than 5,000 client transformations. The academy offers 10 online courses, with more added monthly, and 17 in-person options, all in English and Spanish except lash extensions, which is Spanish only. Course topics include color theory, a free online course on color matching and undertones; brow design with wax; henna brows; brow lamination, which the site says lasts six weeks; ombre powder brows, a micropigmentation course with results the site says last one to three years; and lash extensions covering classic, hybrid and volume techniques.

In-person courses run from one to three days and small groups are capped at four students. Private in-person courses include a live model, while live model practice is an extra fee for small group and online courses. Online courses can be completed at home at the student's own pace. Students can shadow their trainers in the studio at no extra cost, receive lifetime mentoring and resources after finishing, and get a certificate of completion, which is not a license. Students are asked to check their state and city requirements before working on clients. Pricing varies by course length, content and location and is listed on the booking page, with financing available after approval and payment plans carrying an additional 10 percent fee.

The studio says it uses only high-quality products and newer techniques, with an emphasis on a comfortable, welcoming setting where clients can relax and trust the team.
