Perennial Salon opened in 2005 as Tracy B Hair Studio in a 430-square-foot suite in Buckhead. The business later moved to its current Peachtree Hills space, which was planned and built out in 2015. The salon describes itself as a home away from home for every client who comes through the door.

About

The salon says it is guided by health, integrity, growth and education, and that it is committed to continuing education for its stylists. Its Level Pricing and Compensation System lets team members move up based on demand for their time and on their client service standards.

A haircut begins with an individual consultation, followed by a customized shampoo, conditioning and blowout. Highlighting, specialty color, smoothing treatments and extensions are booked by appointment request, with photos of your current hair and the look you want. The limited service menu can be booked online, while the full menu and custom services are requested through the contact page. Treatments include a scalp analysis, a hair mask and a scalp massage.

Extensions use Remy, double-drawn and ethically sourced hair, and a consultation must be booked in advance. The salon's Instagram posts show big hair styling for Lady Gaga and Atlanta Ballet Ball looks.

A credit card is required to reserve. Cancellations or reschedules need 48 hours' notice for appointments under 2.5 hours and 72 hours for longer ones; a change inside that window carries a 50% fee. A no-show or no-call, no-show is charged 100% of the reserved services to the card on file. No monetary refunds are given for services.

The team works with each client to customize the look and is candid about the best way to reach their goals. Continuing education is built into how the salon develops its stylists.
