Peach Blossoms

Peach Blossoms was started in 2016 by founder and owner Crystal Simon. The business focuses on bridal and special event hair and makeup, with a salon space designed for bridal parties that is available for bookings and on-location service for brides in St. Louis.

The founder personally selects every stylist for industry experience, attention to detail and a commitment to polished looks. The salon describes its team as experienced, creative, talented and diverse. Bridal hair and bridal makeup are created as custom looks for each bride, and makeup begins with airbrush or cream foundation. Clients are asked to arrive with clean, dry hair and a clean, moisturized face, and detailed preparation guides for bridal hair and bridal makeup are sent before the wedding day. Lashes are included in the founder's bridal makeup but not in the team's bridal makeup, and extra lashes for other services are an added charge settled on the day with the artist. Clip-in extensions are voluminous and color matched and must be ordered at least two weeks before the event. Trials are scheduled only with the artist who will work the event day.

Bookings are made by appointment. Wedding dates are first come, first served and are not secured until a contract and deposit are received, and retainers are non-refundable because the date is reserved for the client. The salon recommends booking six to twelve months ahead, especially for spring and fall weddings. Final payment is due on the wedding day, and a detailed timeline and invoice are provided beforehand. Guests who pay for their own services pay their artist directly beforehand by Venmo, cash or check, since one payment is not taken for several people. A bridal hair or makeup trial is $100, a combined hair and makeup trial is $200, and trials are an additional fee outside the booking. Salon bookings carry a $25 booking fee with no travel fee, while on-location services carry a travel fee whose amount is not listed. The number of artists depends on the services requested and their availability, and the business accommodates both small parties and large bridal parties, including multiple weddings in one day.

Each bridal look is created custom for the bride, with careful preparation and clear planning from booking through the wedding day.
