Parlour and Main Salon Suites sits a few steps from the original salon and houses independent beauty professionals, each working in a private, personalized space and running their own business. The group there includes hair stylists, estheticians, a nail technician and a bridal makeup artist. Several original stylists moved to Third in Nine when they became independent.
The salon describes its work as high-quality hair services in a welcoming, elevated setting. At the original location the focus is customized color, precision cuts and modern techniques. Listed prices are starting rates; the final cost depends on hair length, thickness, time and complexity, and each stylist sets their own pricing. Extension pricing is decided at a complimentary consultation.
Online booking is open at any hour. Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours' notice may carry a $30 fee for standard services or a $50 fee for color. Clients who miss an appointment without notice may be asked to prepay before rebooking. A grace period of up to 15 minutes may be allowed for late arrivals, depending on the stylist's schedule. Service concerns should be raised within three business days. Clients should tell their stylist about any known allergies before a service begins. Children may not be left unattended. Payment is by cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover; checks are not accepted. Services, products and gift certificates are non-refundable.
